I scheduled a town car for a ride to the airport. I never got a confirmation call or email the day before. On the day of our trip, no one showed up or even called. Later that night I called them and they told me that they had been trying to reach me and also that they couldn't find the address. So basically whoever took the reservation screwed up on both my phone number and the pickup address! I won't be using these guys ever again.

Worst limo serviec that I have ever used. Do not trust them. They showed up to pick up my family at the wrong time. They tried to charge us a cleaning fee. When they did show up they have the wrong size vehicle (too small). Do not use this provider. Dishonest.

Terrible Experience
I came across this blog while reading about other complaints of limousine companies. I want to share my story too if you don’t mind.
I am writing to tell you about our terrible experience with Captain Limousines in 2009. We traveled from two hours out of town for a night in Dallas and contracted this limo company for a full evening of limousine services.
The limousine was meant to be ours for the full evening and we scheduled a pick up in Irving, two-drop offs during the night and return service back home. The evening started off well, and we felt comfortable paying the full $650 amount, but things quickly changed when we decided to end our evening early and called for a 12:00 a.m. pick up instead of a 2:00 a.m. pick up. Although the driver assured us that he would be there in 15 minutes, an hour and a half and five phone calls to his supervisor (which were never answered) later , he finally arrived.
This was only the beginning of our problems with their service. Instead of taking us directly to the first of three final drop offs (as was agreed), they took us back into downtown. We arrived at the first drop off location at 2 a.m. where the driver asked me to exit the limo to have a discussion with him. Frustrated and annoyed, we yelled at each other in a residential area until he finally agreed to drive us back to Irving.
They drove us back downtown again instead of west toward Irving; this was the final straw for all of us. We tried to have a discussion about the terms of the vehicle but they were impossible to talk with, behaving stubbornly and refusing to do their job. 2:30 a.m. in a strange part of town with a non-complainant driver, all 14 passengers hailed four separate cabs at $40 each to get us home.
As a tourist in Dallas, I have never been so appalled with a limousine service as I was this night. All the passengers that evening can agree the company was disrespectful and unprofessional. According to their website their "Business is You” but should be ashamed of their horrible service.
It saddens me to think of someone’s evening or even worse, wedding ruined by this company’s horrible customer service.

No air conditioning???
My son and his friends booked a limo through Captain Limousines for Prom. No doubt it was a very important night for these kids. A special moment that the kids have planned out well in advance with a lot of excitement and saved up money.
Not 4 hours before the pick up time they were called to say that the limo can’t come as it has no air conditioning??? This is Texas and it should be illegal to drive them without air conditioning.
ARE YOU KIDDING ME? 4 hours till pick up & you call??? With no offer of sending something else or providing ANYTHING to drive them??? I am so upset & angry that they have RUINED such a special night…but not nearly has upset & devastated as these kids are right now!!!
We have all called over 30 places with no luck…not a limo around that can do this at such short notice!
I say STAY AWAY from booking with these people unless you don’t care that your special evening is ruined!

This service is awful
The owner of this company and his staff are the most unprofessional group of people I have seen in a long time.
Their customer service is atrocious and their follow-up does not exist. I think their problem is they are so confident in being one of the most established limo services around that they have forgotten their roots (if they ever had any) and abandoned their customers and their loyalty.
I would like to see consumers take a stand and make use of companies who care about customer service and appreciate their clients and Captain Limousines does not do this.

Worst Service Ever
I wanted to place an official complaint about the practices of Captain Limo Service. They offer the worst service one can imagine. I used them 8 times and they were 5 times late. When asked they come up with all kinds of excuses like, the driver lost the satellite on his GPS and couldn't find the house, the car wouldn't start or the best one was used this morning at 4:50 am when I was told that the driver was pulled over by the police for speeding. They then called me later to tell me the driver wouldn't show up. I had no other chance than to take my private car to make my 6:50 flight for an important business meeting. I gave them several chances to improve and they also used different names as their owners. www.captainlimousines.com
Fraudulently charged card
I contracted Captain limo to do a pick up and drop off for a bachelorette party, 2 days before the event they contacted me and advised the SUV limo broke down but will give me a stretch limo at a discounted rate, the SUV limo was $325.00 and the new rate for the stretch limo is only $200.00. I excepted it and 2 days after our event they advised the will be charging my card an additional $100.00 since the driver informed them there was smoking in the car which was not true, they were actually charging my card to get the additional money the lost out on by not giving us the SUV limo.. I tried to file a complaint with the BBB, but they aren't listed… I'm sure I know why!

My Wedding was Ruined
Basically the morning of my wedding the Limo that was supposed to pick me up was 2hours late... they did not pick me up until 30 minutes AFTER I was supposed to be walking down the aisle. The Limo when it finally arrived was dirty and the driver was NOT in a tux and did not know where to go. This driver was the back up driver.
We had ordered 2 limos, the first one showed up on time and said the back up would be there in 15 minutes, the original driver was still in bed and lived far away. This 15 minutes turned into 90 minutes and I was LATE for my own wedding. The first driver didn't know how to get to the church and my brother had to give him directions. The limo company took the address down when we ordered it weeks ahead of time so there was no excuse for that either. They also took 2 payments out of my husband's checking account. They told him one amount, called back with a second amount which he ok'd but instead of adding on to the first one to make it correct they more than doubled it.
I have spoken to captain limousines many times and she assured me she would call my mother, who paid the other 1/2 of the limo service but she never did. I have called her 4 times in the past 2 weeks with no return phone call. The consequences were my wedding day was ruined. The guests had to wait for the bride to show, then the reception which cost us $12,000 was postponed because of the delay, the photographer had to be held longer because of the delay, dessert was not served because we ran out of time at the reception hall ... not to mention the fact that everyone talks about what a mess my wedding day is causing me to be depressed and sad about the happiest day of my life.

The wrong limo showed up
Firstly the wrong limo showed up to our house and secondly the hummer was filthy dirty not cleaned or detailed at all. the drivers response was it was rainy last night!
Oh well today it is sunny and this vehicle should of been cleaned prior to picking my wedding party up at 10:30am there was plenty of time. the interior was dirty, finger prints and smudges on the mirrored ceiling and dirt on the carpet. the vehicle that showed up to my house was the wrong one to begin with which there was nothing that i could of done at that point. than the driver has the audacity to ask for a tip in front of my guests when this was included in the price at the time of the agreement. i am very disappointed in this company!!

Still Waiting on My Refund
I used Captain Limousines to pick up my son and six guests and drop them off at my son's birthday party. I faxed the addresses two days in advance. However, the driver got lost at almost every stop. This caused my son to be 45 minutes late to his own birthday party. This also caused the time the limousine was in service to exceed the three hour minimum by 45 minutes. Instead of getting an appology for their poor service, I was charged for an additional 69 minutes! I was, in affect, being made to pay for their driver's ineptness. The reason it took 45 additional minutes to arrive at the destination is because the driver got lost so many times. This is not right. I asked Captain Limousines to refund me the $150 that they overcharged me and they refused.
Huge Mistake
If customer service is not important to you, and you would like to be shafted by the inept staff then by all means; Do business here.
However be warned, because they seem to enjoy harassing the bridal party and repeatedly not communicating your itinerary correctly. It was a HUGE mistake... I wish I went with a different company ... Any company!!!

Wedding limo disaster
We booked a stretch limo from Captain for our Wedding. The driver was late and the car was not what we had asked for. When we called them, they said we never requested a Hummer. But they charged full price for the Hummer anyway! We were so displeased that we called the owner but he refused to talk to us. The customer service line is never answered.

For anyone looking for a limo in the Dallas Area..
Captain Limousines is the worst limo company in the dallas area.
The Owner is not trust-worthy and the employees have failed to meet basic expectations.
My wife and I have decided to rent a limo about a month ago using another service and then my wife changed her mind and decided to go with Captain Limousines.
